About Marbella Costa del Sol

Marbella is one of the most famous cities on the Costa del Sol in southern Andalusia. The fantastic location on the fine sandy coast of the Costa del Sol attracts holidaymakers from all over the world. Anyone who has found the time to relax and unwind here wants to stay forever. Marbella has therefore developed into a multicultural place of residence that leaves nothing to be desired.
Marbella offers a wonderful backdrop with the mountains of the Sierra Blanca in the north and the approximately 20 km long coast. To the east is the famous city of Malaga and to the west is Estepona.

Living in Marbella

More than 300 days of sunshine a year make Marbella a special place to live. In winter it doesn’t get really cold in Marbella, rather the winter days are mild here. Every season has its own flair. After sunset, go exploring and stroll along the famous Calle Ribera right by the Puerto Banus Marina. Among the fashion boutiques you will also find high-end labels such as Louis Vuitton, Prada and Co. In the port you can enjoy the special delicacies of the sea in the famous fish restaurants, and of course the gastronomy in Marbella has countless restaurants and inviting tapas bars to offer.

Free time activities

In terms of leisure activities, Marbella is also a hotspot here. There are numerous golf resorts and golf courses in the area. You can increase your handicap there by playing official tournaments (see G. Standard tournaments) and playing private rounds, see G. EDS improving rounds.
Water sports offer everything your heart desires. From diving to yacht charter to a sailing trip to Morocco.
If you want to rent a boat all by yourself, you can do so without a boat license for motor boats up to 5 m and for sailing boats up to 6 m and a distance of 2 nautical miles from the coast.
